Sarah Bridal
Sarah was concerned about her upcoming wedding, and wanted everything to be “just right.” That’s when I suggested a pre-bridal wedding shoot, which is becoming more popular these days. Advantages include:
1.It allows for more time to take pictures of the bride, in different locations and poses, than might not be possible during the actual wedding, when the photographer needs to follow a prescribed time-line.
2.It’s a “dress rehearsal” for the Big Day…incorporating the wedding dress, shoes, hair, makeup, accessories, and a mock wedding bouquet to make sure that’s exactly what you envisioned.
3.It allows time for a final fitting for issues that didn’t stand out before…such as puckers where they shouldn’t be, or how long it takes to button up those tiny buttons in the back!
4.The bride feels more comfortable knowing that the photographer has captured plenty of beautiful portraits of her already, and she will feel more comfortable in front of the camera.
We met at the venue with Sarah’s sister and her mother-in-law, and giggled our way through the relaxed, hour and a half appointment. When she left, Sarah said it definitely eased her anxiety about the actual Wedding Day.
